Each of these members, for the most part, is a small business person and all have families, so, the whole community in the UK overall is around 20,000.
Showmen’s Guild members own and operate the fairground attractions and shows that make up the many hundreds of Fairgrounds and some Circuses
and shows across the country, including the historic Charter Fairs; Carnivals; Melas; Festivals and operating at festive occasions, being at the centre of national celebrations, such as the Grand National; the Derby; the Winter Wonderlands nationwide.
